Presentation to CASA by the Malahide Lions Club
Malahide Lions Club was pleased to present a cheque for €2,150 to CASA (Caring and Sharing Association). The amount was raised at a very successful fundraising quiz held recently in St. Sylvester’s GAA Club in Malahide. CASA is a nationwide group that was established to enable their members to develop friendships through social events and to empower individuals. The organisation is unique in that they work with and support people with all disabilities – physical, sensory and intellectual. CASA has a house in Malahide which caters for smaller group social outings and day breaks. The house is suitably adapted focusing on those most in need of care in a smaller setting. There is also a fully accessible garden which provides a sunny social space for the members to enjoy. |
Malahide Lions Club wish to thank St. Sylvester’s GAA Club for allowing us to use their facilities. We would also like to thank all those who entered or sponsored teams, donated prizes and entered into the spirit of the now obligatory limerick competition which contributed to a fun night enjoyed by all.
