SENIOR CITIZENS' CHRISTMAS PARTY 2025
Malahide Lions Club have hosted a Malahide Senior’s Christmas Party in the Grand Hotel since 2013. 
 This has been a cherished event for the Senior Citizens in our community of Malahide. It was sorely missed by them when we had to stop due to COVID, especially as they were already greatly impacted by the social isolation caused by COVID. Many of them still feel affected and this event gives them a chance to get back "out there" and mix with friends.
Malahide Lions Club welcomed r 110 local senior citizens to the Grand Hotel on Saturday 23rd November for a Christmas Party.
Santa and Mrs. Claus greeted each guest with a small gift as they arrived and the guests then sat down to a delicious three course lunch.
Music and dancing followed with singer Derek Keys givingng us all the old favourites from Sinatra, Engelbert, and others of that genre. Lion president Rose Minton thanked the new management and staff of the Grand Hotel for their co-operation and sponsorship. Towards the end of the evening we had a bumper raffle.
