Reusable Cup Project

Our Objective: To eliminate single-use coffee cups in our Village.
In February 2024 a group from St Sylvester's Parish Council proposed a project to eliminate the use of disposable coffee cups. These are a huge source of litter in the environment and in our community. Together with Malahide Tidy Towns and Malahide Lions Club this committee have been working on this project for the past year.

The MALAHIDE FINGAL REUSABLE CUP PROJECT is led by Fingal County Council, is powered by passionate local volunteers from Malahide Tidy Towns, Malahide Lions Club and St. Sylvester’s Parish Council, and facilitated by E-NGO VOICE, social enterprise VYTAL, and forward thinking businesses.

Following a year of preparatory work behind the scenes, this project is now ready to be rolled out.
