SEE THE PHOTOS. At our fantastic show on Sunday, with large crowds, wall-to-wall sunshine and a simply glorious collection of cars, the judges had a difficult time deciding on worthy contenders for the Carole Nash Insurance trophies. After much debate and deliberation the 'Car of The Show' was declared to be the entirely original 1975 Ford Granada Ghia Coupe of Andy Hennessy. 'Runner-Up Car of the Show' was the beautiful 1984 Jaguar XJS HE of Jerry Collins. The drivers themselves get to vote too, for 'My Dream Car' and the winner was the magnificent 1950 Jaguar Mark V of Eugene McArdle who was attending his first Malahide Show. Our thanks go to judges Michael McAleer of the Irish Times, rally and classic car veteran Rory Dooley and Shauna O'Doherty of Carole Nash Insurance Ireland. Congratulations to the winners and thanks to all the drivers and bikers, the owners of the fire engines, and the hundreds and hundreds of spectators who enjoyed the day and helped raise significant amounts for Bumbleance and Jack and Jill Foundation.
