Art Exhibition 2024 Malahide Lions Club Art Exhibition and Sale of Paintings

The recent Art Exhibition held by the Club raised the sum of €14,900 for the charity. The amounts raised will assist Childhood Cancer Ireland to put in place extra supports including a family liaison officer and school/education supports for teenagers.

This past weekend, our community came together to celebrate a beautiful art exhibition that truly highlighted the creative spirit thriving among us. Held at the Malahide tennis club, the exhibition showcased a diverse range of artwork.
What made this event truly special wasn’t just the art on display, but the sense of connection it fostered among us. The gallery was filled with familiar faces, each person pausing to admire the talent on display. There was an undeniable feeling of warmth and pride in the air, as neighbours exchanged smiles and conversations.

As we walked through the exhibits, it was clear that this wasn’t just a showcase of creativity—it was a celebration of community. Many attendees expressed their heartfelt thanks to the artists and organizers for bringing this exhibition to fruition. In a world that often feels fast paced and distant, this exhibition served as a reminder of the power of art to unite and inspire.

To everyone who contributed thank you for making this event so memorable. Our community is stronger and more vibrant because of moments like these.
And we will do it all again next year!

Lions Clubs of Ireland have recently launched a partnership with Childhood Cancer Ireland who support hundreds of families affected by childhood cancer. The funds raised will be used to ease the burden of treatment and help to provide emotional and practical support for families and survivors. Many local and international well-known artists exhibited, all generously giving a percentage of their sales to Childhood Cancer Ireland. A range of amazing paintings were on offer.
