In the past we have supported such deserving causes as The Meningitis Research Foundation, Chernobyl Children's Project, St Francis's Hospice Raheny and many others. The event usually attracts between 50 to 60 teams and is organised by one of the best quizmasters in the country, Lion Stephen MacDonagh. Stephen and his team ensure that the event is both challenging and enjoyable with high quality questions, novelty competitions and excellent raffles, all sponsored by generous supporters for the local community. A unique feature of the Lions Quiz is category prizes which maximise participation up to the last round. |
