FASHION SHOW
November 2010

Malahide Lions Club held their very successful Fashion Show on 18th November. The venue was Portmarnock Sports and Leisure Centre.

This was a tremendously exciting event, with 39 models showcasing fabulous outfits from 10 local boutiques.
We hope to organise our next Fashion Show in 2015

The Show was in aid of Mediation Northside. This free mediation service helps people from disadvantaged areas who are involved in conflict. It helps them to resolve conflict in a positive way, and avoids escalation of these conflicts. They train volunteers from the local communities/organization as mediators and they provide this service within their own areas.

This service builds capacity within the community and empowers people; this is a highly valued community resource. It is supported by local groups and statutory agencies. The service they provide requires a certain level of administrative support, supervision and training for volunteers, community employment and clients.
