Malahide Lions Club - Art Exhibition

From 20th to 22nd April, Malahide Lions Club held its 17th Art Exhibition in Malahide Tennis Club. It raised a magnificent €8,000 and was, therefore, one of the most successful ever.

On show were 124 paintings from 41 artists. Prices ranged from €200 to €3,600 with a major work at €14,500. The display of pictures was considered by the artists to be excellent with plenty of hanging and viewing space.

A painting generously donated by Harrie McManus was raffled raising €1,600.The lucky winner was incoming president Lion Jimmy Brett. The beneficiary was Achieve ABA, an organization operating a school for Malahide children with Autism.
