Table Quiz 2017

This year's Lions Table Quiz, on Thursday, February 9th, was held in aid of the LauraLynn Foundation, which charity is dear to the heart of quizmaster Lion Donal Lehane. The venue was Malahide Yacht Club,which proved just right for the 20 tables that attended on the night. Donal was ably assisted by a hardworking committee, including his daughter Kate, who took over as quizmaster for the final couple of rounds, and did an admirable job. A broad range of subjects tested those present, and an enjoyable night was had by all. Bottles of wine were presented to the winners and runners up ans there was an extensive range of raffle prizes. The final figures are not in yet but it is hoped that LauraLynn will benefit by over €1000. Watch this space for details of the cheque presentation.
